i love new york more than anything. it his home to the most interesting, wonderful people in the world. to just walk down the street and look at people. to smile and recieve a smile back. to talk to someone you dont know. really talk to them, and you can. of course it's corrupted and fucked over like the rest of this country, but it really is a wonderful place.

i know what you mean about religion, or god, being embarrassing. like, when you're having a tough time and people say, "i'll pray for you." part of me wants to say, wow, that's really nice. gee. the other part wants to say, whoa weird. don't do that.
hey, i was just staying in a hilton and i said the exact same thing " i just donated money to the paris hilton is a skank fund."
i had some friends that went to ground zero soon after 9/11 and they took pictures of all the pictures/posts/flowers/etc..and i thought that was pretty cool to see- just all the love that people had left, all the suffering- but i don't know why anyone would want to just take a picture of the site with nothing there.
