i am getting a tattoo. It's something I've wanted for a long time- I've been thinking about it since I was 18, but had never settled on really WHAT I wanted. Now i have more of an idea, and I'm ready. I'm so ready it's ridiculous. It's all I can do not to haul down to Inkslingers and scream "NOW ( Read more... )

I think tattoos are deeply personal, meaningful expressions of self for most people. (Barring the tramp stamps, of course.) And if someone questions your reasoning for choosing the beachy icons, tell them to go masturbate with a cheesegrater and then post pics of what you chose. :-)

My design is nearly done. I'm working on it. =)

I think i've decided. I found a few tattoos that I loved, and could imagine tweaking them to make them perfect. I'm going to post them soon. If I could draw well, I'd draw exactly what I want.

You could also do the beach thing in respects to shells with water behind them or something to that respects, but I agree, whatever it is, it has to mean something to you, screw everyone else.
