I doubt you'll have any luck confronting him, as he sounds like a complete jackass, though it might be worth trying. Can you report your 'hacking' in the game he played? It might lead to them investigating and banning him (if it's a game which has that kind of moderation). That doesn't solve anything, but I'm a big fan of getting even.

even if confronting him fails, i should probably try, looking back on things i seem to have a habit of just letting it go and not sorting things out directly. mainly because i'm always 'waiting for the right moment' which never happens because i'll eventually get into a different state of mind and it all passes XD

reporting it wouldn't work because they could easily check the IPs and notice that we had accessed each other's accounts before and thus my security was already compromised. it's my fault for not realising it and changing it as soon as the relationship ended, but his for abusing that fact.

my last resort, if i ever reach that point, is to just book and flight over to the states and beat him up physically >.> though telling everyone we knew in game exactly what happened and why from my point of view is probably a better option, but i'm a wuss and feel to distant from them now.

You might be pleasantly surprised if some of those other people you know in game take your side. And if they don't, at least walking away would feel slightly less 'unfinished'.

That's horrible.

Tell everyone in-game exactly what happened. In detail. Tell them what you've recountered here on LJ. You should probably confront him... if you can. If he will let you. If you can find him.

And maybe try IRC for developing online relationships in the future...? >_>

i'm sure i can find him on vent (i'm the obsessive stalker type when it comes to relationships >.>) and in game, since he's courting a cleric now -.- (again info gained from my stalks). i just lack the courage to actually go through with it.
