There is a website out there that makes it easier to contact your elected officals. I've used it myself, and all I've gotten were pre-typed letters back with their letter heads basicly saying "Hey, lookie here, someone thinks they can change the world. Welp, I'm the elected one, you're not, so I am going to push my personal agenda, not yours!"

i have two kerry edwards stickers on my car, one in english and one in spanish, and i live in nc which is always republican for the president especially my town, and nothing bad happens to my car
