I haven't gotten a chance to look at my friends list posts yet for the day, so I apologize if someone's already gone over this, but despite my support for Obama and immense joy that he won, I still have difficulty believing any real change will come

I expressed these same fears and (since he's a politics major) James has told me that basically we're right.
Usually a new president's policies take 2-4 years to make any sort of noticeable affect, so according to James we'll probably still be feeling what Bush has done. I dunno if he's right, but I kinda think he is. Which makes me sad.
