Found you through your wonderful LTM fanmix. We have House/Cuddy, X-files, and Lie to Me in common. I enjoy art but photography mainly. I hate matching socks and consider it the "Bane of my existence"; I have 4 children. In the spring I'll be learning to ride my motorcycle again. It should be entertaining....embarrassment/pride injury will definitely be involved.
Hi! I recognize your username. I think I might have seen you around a few comms (the XF reference stuck with me). I also love art but mainly photography and hate matching socks!!! I've been known to go to ridiculous lengths to con my husband into doing it for me. I don't ride, but I have kind of a secret love affair going on with motorcycles. I'm in awe of their power and beauty in the same way that others like horses. So HELL YEAH I WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND!!!
YAY! I have a new friend. I really need a snoopy dance icon. I have socks waiting to be matched...right now. LOL My desire to ride started when I got on the back of my cousin's and he took me for a spin. I was 10. I'm really excited about learning and slightly terrified but that's part of the attraction. Baby (as in "Noone sticks Baby in a corner.") is a beautiful V-Star 650. Yep, I love her. My husband is fully licensed to ride so he tortures me by riding her. I glare at him as he rides away. It's sad.
I meant to say earlier that I really like your LTM fanfic and would like some more please.
Sorry it took me a little while to reply, but my LJ was on unofficial hiatus while I dealt with being locked in with these nutters snowbound with my family all last week. Now I understand why people get cabin fever. And how it could be fatal.
I just checked out a picture of Baby (love the origin of the name) on your blog, and she is gorgeous! I'm jealous! Will you be getting your license soon?
Thanks for your nice words about the fic! The story is a little dark, so it's great to hear you like it! I should post another chapter in a day or two.
