Kind of a Chinese-themed meal today.
Rice: White rice with black bean sauce (jja jang bab, a very popular dish served in Chinese restaurants here.
Soup: Tofu-and-baby-shrimp
Banchan: Ggak ddu gi (gimchi made of diced daikon radishes-- my favorite kind!); spicy stewed chicken (mostly skin and bone...); some kind of fried sesame/sweet&sour chicken (soggy but kind of tasty); dried salted anchovies cooked with mild green chilies; a salad involving apples, ham, hard boiled eggs, and mayonnaise dressing (the kids got a cherry tomato, too), which I... did not eat.
Maybe will post more later. I'm on a free period at work, and I really need to get my lesson plans and report cards done, but... stuff. I'm kind of angry about something (here, not abroad) and looking to vent. Bye...
