Selling computer parts.

Jul 03, 2009 17:44

If anybody is searching for an upgrade, I'm offing a few not-so-bad bits. If nobody buys here I'll be heading over to trademe. These prices are less than what I'll be putting them on trademe for.

All parts are currently in use, and have no issues. Current setup runs many games fine. Not sure on latest ones such as Crysis etc, don't own them.

AMD Athlon 3800+ CPU - 939pin: $100
Apparently now very hard to get hold of, and one of the best performing CPU's for a 939 motherboard. Is dual core. Make sure you have a 939 motherboard if you want this part, in saying that.

GA-K8NF Motherboard (939pin): $80
Manufacturers link
Please note this has NO on board video. A graphics card would be necessary. Takes DDR memory, can support up to 4x1GB sticks, also with dual channel support.

512mb DDR RAM - PC3200: $20 each (4 available)
The current RAM in the motherboard. Will sell separately.

ATI Radeon X1900 XT video card (PCI): $100
Benchmark link
This card is somewhere between the Nvidia 7800GTX and 8600GTS for performance. Has 2 DVI outputs, will happily supply a DVI-VGA adapter if required.

There is also a 19" CRT monitor, but not many people want a CRT these days. If you are interested, let me know.

I will leave this on here for a week, then proceed to list the items on trademe.

Thanks for viewing.
