This morning i was charged with ordering a flower arrangement for a funeral i will be attending this evening. My immediate concern was the fact neither i nor my father know the first name of the deceased, so i couldn't rightfully place the order. What a fiasco! There is no shame in spending your tenure on the mortal coil playing The Sims.

Additionally, the story does read like a sitcom episode. Days like that always leave me feeling slightly out of place, like I stumbled onto the set of a movie that's filming.

Not only does that sentence make me feel better, it is also brilliantly written. Double happiness!

This little instance is generally indicative of my life as a whole. There are all manner of minor disasters and bizarre run-ins with accepted social etiquette. Misunderstandings and unfortunate accidents abound on all sides. It's relieving to know stuff like this happens to others, cuz honestly i could use a few more cast members in this drama, to take off some of the heat and carry the story arc for a bit.
