Pieces of Paper - Sho/Arashi [Oneshot]

Title: Pieces of Paper
Rating: PG
Pairings: None. Possibly Sho/Arashi.
Summary: Arashi like to cover Sho's fridge with all sorts of treasures.

Sho's fridge door is overflowing with miscellanea. Aiba calls it Sho's 'Fridge of Love'. Photos, scraps of paper, clippings, ticket stubs, restaurant receipts, cute little magnets and stickers from the different places visited on tour.

It's become a sort of tradition for the rest of Arashi to add their own little pieces to it.

Jun sometimes leaves whole pages from various fashion magazines. The clothes he thinks will suit Sho are circled. Personal favourites have a small red heart next to them and ones he definitely thinks Sho should buy have stars.

Every now and then there will be individual articles of clothing ripped out. A pair of jeans, a shirt or some sun-glasses. Those are the ones Jun has gone ahead and already bought for Sho. Jun has never had much restraint when it comes to clothes. Or when it comes to Sho.

Nino leaves Polaroid pictures of himself. This kind of irked Sho at first, until he asked Nino why.

“For when Sho-chan misses me,” was the innocent reply, which wasn't really that effective with the accompanying smirk.

To anyone else, that would sound completely egotistical. Infact, coming from anyone else, it probably would be just that. The five of them have been together for 10 years, and Sho is confident in his ability to read his bandmates. He knows it's just Nino's way of saying he'll always be near, even if he physically isn't. Always looking out for Sho. Of course, the fact that Nino has a photo of each bandmate on his own fridge sort of helps to back up that claim.

Now Sho finds he can't go to sleep without looking at the picture of Nino pulling a dorky face on his fridge, lovingly held up with a magnet in the shape of a Nintendo DS. Sho always goes to bed with a smile on his face and every week there's a brand new photo, courtesy of one Ninomiya Kazunari.

Ohno leaves little sketches of things he has seen over the last few days. From a small bird that landed a few feet infront of him in the park to Jun dozing in the Arashi dressing room. Sho enjoys looking at Ohno's pictures, studying the fine pencil work and the immense detail in those small images.

When he comes home after a rather mundane day at work, Sho gets the chance to experience Ohno's day through his eyes. He see's that whilst appearing to be somewhat spacey at times, Ohno loves to observe and takes pleasure in everything around him. The careful and steady lines of his drawings are enough to show that. Sho is always overcome with such a huge amount of pride when he looks at them.

They also brighten up his dull kitchen and make the room a pleasure to be in. They make it interesting. Sho doesn't have any art work on his walls because as far as he's concerned, he already has the best artwork up.

Aiba leaves encouraging messages, little questions and even just random thoughts. “Good luck on News Zero tomorrow Sho-chan”, “I wonder what would happen if I put the toothpaste tube in the microwave” and “Does Sho-chan want to go shopping on Tuesday?” All surrounded by colourful little pictures of animals or what appears to be the other guys in Arashi.

Knowing Aiba's mind is always running a mile a minute and how he's always so forward thinking, makes Sho in turn feel more positively. If he gets up in the morning and is feeling particularly down for whatever reason, it's Aiba's messages that always get him through the door. When he has days like that, the first thing he does when he eventually gets into work is grab Aiba into a big hug and mutter a 'thank you' only for his ears.

Each month the amount of little treasures on Sho's fridge grows to an unmanageable amount. Magnets slip down, letting the precious papers float down to the floor. Sho gathers everything up and carefully puts it all in his bedside cabinet. Smiling warmly as he looks over the past months bits and pieces.

After everything safely joins the large pile from previous months and years, Sho goes back into his Kitchen and looks at his fridge. Completely bare. Sho patiently waits until it starts to fill up again.
