Beautiful, in-depth descriptions and an overall lovely tale. I was extremely taken by the scene between Henry and Walter separated by the kitchen counter island. Their conversation felt perfectly in character and just right. Henry's timidness yet determination was just wonderful.
And this was, quite possibly, my favorite line from the entire story: "You can laugh all you want," Henry said quietly. "But at the end of the story, Alice still gets out of Wonderland."
That was simply beautiful. I had really hoped this prompt would be the one filled, so I was really happy to see that. I loved the amount of detail put into this; it made for some incredibly beautiful and haunting imagery. You have a really wonderful way with words.
I felt everyone was very in-character, and I didn't mind at all that you added Walter; I loved that you did, actually. My favorite parts were definitely "vii - for i have sinned." and "x - photographs of the past".
And the last line-- oh, that was a perfect ending. I got chills.
Thank you so, so very much for this. You are beyond amazing. ♥
