Now, one thing I would note that was not discussed is how these devices were powered in Shadowrun - we now know. The corollary to this is food.. if the devices are pulling glucose out of your bloodstream, you will get hungry more frequently. That said, installing more bits and bobs could make for a hell of a weight loss program...
