Okay, so I have a wedding to go to this weekend, and another wedding in like two weeks. Each wedding is at least 4 hours away from where I live. I'm poor, I'm a college student. Tell me about it.

I have two sisters Debby and Sandy.

Mom sprang for EVERYTHING as far as Sandy's wedding is concerned and did nothing for Debby (granted Sandy got married locally while Debby had to get married on a base)

Sandy got divorced a year later and had a big fight with her ex over the house - He ended up with it.

Debby also got divorced but not before having a son and having 17 plus real good years.

When every little girl dreams of her wedding, she does not dream of going to a courthouse to get married. And if you're doing it right, you only have one wedding. Why not make it be everything you want it to be?

I read this and my mouth dropped! He's an ass and I couldn't agree with you more...on everything mentioned in this post.

Like I said, take LOTS of pictures so I can laugh at them with you later!
