So, for everyone who doesnt know, for my graduation present my parents were nice enough to buy me a new MacBook 2.0Ghz with a nice 80 gig drive. However, as it always happen, something new came out literally a week and a half later, its 2.16 Ghz and 120 gigs. So since mine is still under the 14 day return period I decided to take it back and trade

If it makes you feel better that last time I bought an ibook the ibookG4 came out the next morning...literally and no one bothered to tell me at the store. Though I bought it at CompUSA. I was able to trade out ibooks but I had to wait until they had them in stock too. I'm surprised the Apple store was so rude, I've always had good luck with them up there. Though I guess I have never dealt with the sales reps only the Genius bar ppl. Good luck with it all. Oh, and congrats on graduating!

man they suck! i don't know if i'd have been able to hold my tongue in that position. first of all, you called and they said to come on over. a PACK OF LIES! there were no new models. so why the hell did they tell you to waste gas, which is fucking expensive, to come over for... nothing? are they going to reimburse you for your wasted time and money? no? then have a nice dose of shut-the-hell-up. 2) wait till next week? doesn't that negate the 14 days? my ASS you'll wait a week until your return policy is up. sure, they may TELL you that it's cool, but they also told you to come on over to switch out your macbooks. yeah. sure. we'll believe what they say... 3) the fries thing. wtf? in fact, i might have just said that in-store had i happened to be there. like, "do you sell fries, or are you just being an ass?" maybe, MAYbe he was trying to be cute. maybe. but it fell horribly short of cute and landed smack in the middle of fucking-annoying. 4) 10:30? huh? was the guy stupid? were you commenting on how late you
