and poured cement, lamented and assured

Went over to John's house again. I dropped off the 8"x10" prints and chatted for a bit, then I went home to wait for the 2 PM showing of Clerks II, which I've been anticipating for almost two years. All that anticipation wasn't in vain, and I got everything I was expecting. I laughed. I shuddered in disgust. I was amused. I was touched and a little saddened. Clerks II is very worth of its predecessor, but it'll take some time before I have enough perspective to rank it higher than Clerks.

I suddenly really started missing John during the go-kart scene, which totally saddened an otherwise whimsical moment in the movie. The "shit hits the fan" montage, which used the Pumpkins' "1979" was even sadder. When I got home, I called him. His phone seems to be on more often, and he's actually picking up. The conversation was short; only four minutes. I was feeling a bit weird (headachy) and I didn't have anything to say. I wanted to go to the bank before it closed and go grocery shopping, but I'm just too tired today. I blame the weather. Tomorrow had better not be so drab or else I'll never get anything done.I definitely MUST go to the bank and Dominick's. I just mailed in a tuition check and I need to deposit my grandmother's reimbursement, and I have no organic food left. That typography essay and poster need to get done, and I need to produce a few works from the last typography class. I only saved one. :X
