I went to a convenience store friday night and there was a frail looking older woman, somewhere between 50-65. She was there with her daughter who was my age or a little older. I got my test results in the mail this morning. It says 'the periperal blood smear shows abnormal changes but does not appear to be consistent with chronic myeloid leukemia". So that's good news right? But what does abnormal changes mean? I guess I need to wait for my hematologist to call me.

Not sure what to get him :( I was thinking a starbucks card because he loves his coffee and then maybe a kahlua gift set thingy if I can find one. Can't go wrong with alcohol and I know he likes kahlua. Gotta find the perfect card of course. Running out of time ... I think I'll go see him tomorrow night, spend the night that's always fun. My best friend is going to court tomorrow. Her ex is trying to get custody of their son. He's never been there when it mattered and never helped support the child, there's also a record of domestic violence, so I doubt he even has a chance.
