I find it mildly ironic that I can breeze through Soul Calibur 4 without any trouble and yet get my ass handed to me (in very decisive fashions) in Tekken 5. The irony lies in the fact that both franchises were made by the same company: Namco.

VS People or VS CPUs?

I used to get my ass handed to me in the arcade @ CSUS at both games, but I was a bit better at Tekken, since I have it at home (Jin Kazama ftw!)

I also have SC II but I never really played it that much, and I wasn't too good at the combos.

Granted, I was the best at Street Fighter (since I've been playing that game since the 4th grade... and ironically, the one I'm best at is Dance Dance Revolution.... put me up against anyone (minus those psychos who play in tourneys and win) and I would do quite well against 'em. :)

Vs. CPU. And I was referring to the home versions for both games (even though SCIV actually belongs to a friend since I don't have a Xbox 360...or PS3...or Wii...aw, leave me alone). I've never played any of the arcade versions.
