Tasted a sample this morning. I'm guessing I'm at around beer level, alcohol-wise (5% or so). A little fizzy, definite yeast flavor, but actually rather pleasant. Still really sweet, but not as cloying as the original honey/water mix was (pre-ferment). Seems promising.

Hit the brewstore today as well. Picked up a few things:

3 gallon carboy x 3 - the only plant in North America that made them was in Mexico, and it closed. So now all carboys are coming from Italy. This means the price is gonna skyrocket (already has in some places). These guys had a few in stock, so haven't had to order any recently, thus their prices haven't changed yet. Since I'll need 'em eventually, I grabbed them now while they're still cheap.

Still Need:

Fruit for secondary
Sanitzer
Wallpaper tray - for sterilizing the longer tools
Funnel

Tomorrow it should hit the 1/3 sugar break (a third of the way through the ferment) and I should be able to give the last of the staggered nutrient additions, give it one last aeration/stir, and then put the lid and airlock on, so it won't make the dining room smell as strongly.
