Sure, marriage is an institution defined as being between a man and a woman and bound up in all sorts of traditions and that sort of garbage.

But what defines it as such? Religion/culture, damnit.

So why the f*** does the government authorize "marriages" anyway? It seems to me they should only deal with "civil unions" between anyone, and leave ( Read more... )
