Urbane

I decided I don't like the definition of urbane as "refined, polite, sophisticated." If we look at the latin it came from ("urbanus"), that's not what it means... and in modern english, "urban" certainly doesn't always mean refined, polite, sophisticated. I want a word that means in love with the city. Sophisticated, sure, but cities aren't always
