what I did in July

I was able to keep up on my travel diaries, but fell behind on posting them. So, July travels:

First, we went to Toronto for an elk roast/stag party.
Then we went to Ottawa for a 40th birthday party.
Then we went to Montreal for the Fantasia movie festival.
Had a weekend at home, and then it was off to Osoyoos, BC for my brother's weddingPictures

BTW: You can't get to the public areas of the Toronto islands from the airport :-(

I had time to kill when I landed there and hoped to be able to spend it on the island rather than the city.

The joke is that if the ferry was twice as long they wouldn't have to move it at all.

I suspected as much, that's too bad (from a tourist point of view, though I'm sure they like it for security).
I heard rumours that they're thinking about digging a tunnel.
