Done my saloon girl costume! And it's even more than 18 hours before I leave on vacation. Pictures to come after I wear it at Convergence. :)

Woo-hoo! My fringe trimmed gloves and fringe top thigh highs arrived today. *whew* I thought I would have to harrass them on the phone as it seems like I ordered them forever ago. But I LOVE the fit on them, and will definately order more.

Fringe top thigh highs? ... a google search took me to some interesting places, but I did find an example. You win at accessories. :) I made up the net elbow length gloves that came in the pattern envelope since I had some netting that I hadn't used up yet, but I'll be wearing regular fishnets on my legs.

When I was searching for fringed gloves, I found a website/store located in Florida that also had fringe top thigh highs on clearace for $4.99 each. Even if I run them and only wear them once, it's so worth it. Also, the fringe gloves come in two styles: fringe going down the length of the arm, and fringe at the top of the glove. There's so many colors that they each come in, too. Take a look!

I get very excited over accessories, I swear I must really be a drag queen!

Yay for finishing more than 3 hours before it's time to leave! Have a BLAST and I need tons of photos since we can't go this year.

I was getting worried that I'd be sewing in Park City. :) There will be lots of photos, I'll even try to post a few camera phone shots as I go along.

Crap, I finally noticed that I had still forgotten to put the last hook and eye on my walking skirt. :/ Will try to get that done tonight, but I'll be bringing needle. thread and scissors just in case!

Today I found another top that is suitable for Ghosts of the Old West which I had completely forgotten my friend gave me ages ago. It was too big then but it fits now!

I've been keeping the outfit on a dress maker's dummy so I can see it, I'm really happy with how it turned out!
I can't wait to see everyone else's outfits, there will indeed be lots of pictures. :)
