Are you specifically wanting to work in China or just work as an ESL teacher somewhere? I have a friend that did ESL instruction in China. She had a really wonderful experience. I could give you her email address if you'd ever like to talk about it. We used to be teachers together in Austin.

At the moment I'm specifically targeting China as I want to go to Asia and China is the easiest country to find work in for a non-native speaker such as myself. Plus I think it'd be an interesting place to live! I'd love to get your friend's e-mail, actually! I don't really know what to expect, so it'd be nice to hear from someone who's done it before.
