waiting for the brand new day

dunno what time it will post when I actually post this post, but by my PC it is now 10:49. Today was a rather grueling day, certainly a test to my constitution both mentaly and physicaly. With the effect upon both my psyche and body, as I expected, an emotional response was in tow. I arrived home today to find a message on our voicemail from Becca

i hate the pressure that birthdays put on you. it's like you have to do fun and exciting stuff even if all you want to do is curl up in a ball and have some cuddle time all day.
anniversaries are the same way. we should just celebrate events whenever we feel like it, i say. like we should pretend it's becca and your's birthday when we get there. you can each have your seperate day, and we will sing to you and it will be marvelous.
i'm sorry about your stinky work day sir. that sounds like poop in a basket. your patience is much better than mine.

i definitely would not have been able to handle it. the first joke would come and i would give a fake laugh, the second; fake laugh, third; fake laugh, fourth; silence, fifth; silence accompanied by a stare.....etc....

i definitely admire your patience.....sorry ms. becca wasn't home to share this with, but that seems to happen to all of us, ya know?

and happy b-day again, i know it felt like just another day for you, but for me it is definitely a cause for celebration b/c it is the anniverary of the day that one my greatest friend that i will probably have came into existence.
