A break up is like a broken mirror. It is better to leave it broken then hurt yourself trying to fix

This thing about growing up is that you gain some things, you also lose others.

Though growing up means freedom, not having to deal with underage restrictions, no school, more exposures and tons more others, it also means that you've got  more responsibilities to shoulder, more commitments to handle, more problems to deal with and the thing is you got to do this all alone.

Death scares me, a lot. Because I don't know when will I spend my last moment with my loved ones. I might be here today, chatting happily but gone tomorrow because some assholes think its fun to drink and drive (choy).

Few years down the road, you'll be seen, with your singtel/starhub bills in your hand, waiting to pay them at the AXS machine or seven eleven counter. People around you will start giving you wedding invitations or tell you how they've once again been promoted or even how they've gotten yet another house, only bigger and better than yours.

While people are making plans for their future, I'm still stuck in my own world, own slow moving time. Wishing I was a kid. Wishing that love was as simple as hidding it deep in your heart. Love's simple when seeing that person makes you contented, him smiling or looking at you will make you think that he's interested. And how being together meant forever. Not that I ever though being together meant forever.

Forever doesn't exist. But at least innocence does. Its called innocence of the young, or as adults would put it across as self deceiving. Thats the thing about growing up. You just learn and know everything. Whether you want it or not. Today you learn that NaOH + HCl meant neutralisation, tomorrow you learn how Venice rise as a great city/state.

When has any of this been in our control? I don't want to know how Venice rise and then decline. I don't want to know how the god damn plant respire. I just want to know, how can we stop growing up. How can broken hearts be mended. How can maths problem be solved without thinking hard. How can everything just stop and rewind, back to the good old days, where 1 + 1 = 2. and that matters exist as solid liquid and air?

Thats why people always say ignorance is bliss. That, I agree. Because now you know in love, 1 +1 doesn't = 2. There's no formula, no reasons, no theory, it happens, just like that.   .

I'm not at those point of times when I'll whine and say "I'm so sick of tired of being sick and tired." Now isn't it, yet. Its just that the future scares me. Like how one day we might all become strangers once more and disappear from each others' life. Everything's catching up with me and I can't run away from it, not anymore.
