Wow that was an unexpected twist. It actually fits the footage too haha. I watched Newsies for the first time back in August and it really is quite inspiring (the youth of today have no idea how lucky they are. They need to see how kids back then struggled :/).
I had listened to the original broadway soundtrack beforehand and after watching this it made me appreciate the songs more. I was hoping to fly over to watch the new broadway cast as it had one of my favourite So You Think You Can Dance contestants in the cast but he's finished his time there and moved on to other things...and I'm so poor right now I can't afford much ^^;;
I know, right? It really does work so well. I hope whenever the funds replenish you get to see it sometime. I'm glad that they decided to bring it to broadway. Keeps the movie/story alive for me, and I always thought it deserved a lot more attention and praise than it was given when it first came out. Would also like to see it one day. :D
