OK, I wrote this in....five minutes? when I realized that Takumi-kun Series will get a fourth movie! And Dai/Mao! ^.^ Couldn't sit still after this.

Akai Ito
It was during the credits of a particularly sappy, romantic movie aired on the late television-they didn’t have much else in options-when Takumi, drowsy and comfortable against Gii’s shoulder, asked him.
“Gii…do you think we are all connected by the same red thread?”
Gii lifted his head, having laid his cheek on Takumi’s head, and thought for a few moments. Takumi was almost asleep when he answered.
“No…I don’t think so.”
His words alerted Takumi, and he was shaken awake by Gii’s inflective answer. Was he the only one who thought that they were destined…? “What do you mean?”
Despite Takumi’s anxiety, Gii smiled. “Because…” He tugged Takumi close for a reassuring kiss on his forehead.
“Because….?” Takumi’s shoulders were tense; he was still not quite wholly recovered from all of his emotional scars.
Gii tilted Takumi’s chin with a finger and looked at him with grave eyes. “Because no matter where you are, who you are, what you do, in any lifetime, I would always find you even without the red thread. Nothing would stop me from finding you again.”
Takumi, wide-eyed, slowly smiled when Gii’s words sunk into his brain. Reaching up, he tugged Gii close and gave him a kiss.
Short, sweet, unbetaed...and fluff. Oh, the fluff. I'm in a good mood now. XD
