Well, at least I have the photos I need for the rest of the original families for Week 2. But I've had some downright scary glitches, so it's time to overhaul the downloads folder again. Well, one thing about adding sims is, odds are they won't get used for a while. The bigger the population compared to your playables, the smaller the chance of any individual sim (whether PT or townie) to marry in ( ... )

Hmm! That does help quite a bit. And right now, despite starting with five households, I don't exactly have a large pool to marry in my custom townies.

I'm going to keep the Dorks as reserve townies-to-be, and put them in as large family clumps by generation. But I think if I space out the deposits of townies enough, I can avoid the whole having the hots for each other thing.

Right now I've got the base neighborhood ready - the townies in place, the seeding lot deleted, and my templates ready to put my Families back in. And this time I zipped up a copy of the blank to keep in reserve, should it get glitchy again. Sadly, I'm still going to have to traumatize Dean and Samson most likely. I'll have to think about how I'm doing that again.
