Speaking of Diarrhea, Here's a Song About Light Sabers...

Ok Guys are you ready for this?

I had an incredibly random weekend (which coincidentally spilled into Monday and Tuesday)

The following paragraphs are highly unstable and may explode if shaken.

You have been warned.

Saturday night I got to listen in on 'an official band rehearsal' of Schwa. Schwa consists so far of Chad(lead guitar), Sorenson(bass) and Johnson(keyboard). They sound really good so far! They can already do a perfect intro to Riders on the Storm! Remember everyone you heard of Schwa here first. =P

Sunday we,(my siblings, parental-units and I) headed up to the McKurcher Cottage in Norway Bay for Eve's 4th birthday party! It was a good time even if it was super hot. But let me warn you all now. Dora the Explorer is a seriously messed up children’s program! We ended up watching 'Dora's Fairytale Adventure'

To summarize: Dora and Boots (who's a purple monkey btw) step through a magical gate (which talks) into Fairytale Land. But then, sadly, Boots eats a tainted banana (which just happened to be lying around) and falls into an enchanted slumber that can only be broken by a hug from a true Princess. Problem is, there are no true Princesses in Fairytale Land and time is limited. (Apparently the writers forgot about the fact that 90% of all fairytales consist of a 'real' princess of some sort) Dora vows to become a true Princess and embarks upon a challenging journey that begins with a search for a red ring hidden in a dragon's cave. Next she strives to get past a giant in order to teach the rocks to sing (I'm not even kidding) and then she must defeat marching snowmen, rolling snowballs, and threatening storm clouds so that she can turn winter into spring. (To get rid of the snowmen) Finally, Dora must somehow deliver the moon (yes the moon, with the help of her talking star buddies might I add) to the King and Queen. Then in a total Sailor Moon style rip-off, Dora turns into a 'real' princess complete with hair extensions and saves the day. (All the while throwing in Spanish words to throw you off!)

Crack heads. All of the writers are crack heads! My brain has been liquefied!!!

Right then, moving on.

Sunday night I went to see Batman Begins with Jenny, Jenny's brother Dave (Who I love and missed terribly!) and Michelle! And Jenny drove!!

Whoa, holy intense movie Batman! It was really good! Dark, very complex, freaky as hell *Shudders*... scarecrow. Overall it had me captivated for the 2 and a bit hours that it ran. I highly recommend seeing it, as long as you don't get motion sick in the theatre! Lol oh ya, and afterwards we went to the washroom and I'm lazy and don't like using the hand dryers, so I started after Jenny with my wet hands and I ended up actually chasing her around the Burger King until she finally ran squealing back in the bathroom! It was hilarious!!!

Monday was also very awesome! Mondo called me up around noon and asked if I wanted to go Hiking. I had been in my air conditioned house all morning so I said sure! I stepped outside and said shit! We went to Jack Pine Trail (off Moodie) And once we got into the shady woods it was fine. (And we had cold water, also very helpful!) We hiked and talked for about and hour and half then headed back to her place to go swimming. We didn't leave the pool for over an hour. Finally we got out to have some lunch (Chicken wings, chips and pickles) then back in the pool. Then we went to DQ to get some Blizzards (For those of you who have not tried their new Pie Blizzards... *drroooooooooollllll* My puddle of drool will tell you all you need to know. Get one!) Then we went back to her place, and back in the pool! Needless to say I am one burnt humanoid. Aloe is my new best friend.

After that was the PEAK meeting, and thankfully everything is still a go for our trip despite the bombings. (12 Days!!!!!)

Then I headed downtown and met up with Marty around 9pm. We went to The Pour House for some open mike with Peter! But it turned out that because the big rugby game was on (New Zealand All Blacks vs. The Welsh Lions) open Mike was pushed back to 11. So I proceeded to order 6 out of the 8 cocktails on their menu over the course of an hour and a half. They were all very yummy, and I was quickly inebriated (yay for straws!) Jess P. and Michael (Marty's other housemate) Joined us around 10:15, and then a bunch of Marty's co-workers came too. Peter was great! at one point he left, and came back wearing a torn and faded jean jacket, 80s sunglasses, and a red toque and called himself 'Ray Gun Von Frankenstein'(I think?) His songs were very funny.

Around 1:30 Jess, Michael and I started to walk back to their place in Vanier. We found a stray cat who wouldn't stop meowing at us, so we picked him up and named him Timothy (or Little Timmy) and carried him most of the way to their house when he decided that he had had enough cuddles and wanted to go on his way. We had been sitting around for maybe 10 mins when Martha and Peter showed up, then 15 mins later ALL of Marty's co-workers showed up! So for about and hour and a half there were at least 15 people just hanging out, having a good time. I stayed out on the porch cause it was sooo hot but around 3:30 Jess and I stole an oscillating (I love that word!) fan and went up to her room to watch season 5 of South Park. I fell asleep half way through the first episode and I think Jess fell asleep very soon after. It must have been a very funny sight, The two of us sprawled upside-down on her small single bed, me in her heart patterned PJ pants all rolled up, her in her neon blue tank top and plaid boxers, getting blown by the fan that was right next to Jess's head. That would have been a great picture.

The next morning around 8:00 I think, maybe? Peter called up asking if we wanted to go out for breakfast... I thought I dreamt it. So around 10:45 Jess and I woke up enough to tell Marty what we wanted from Timmy's and then proceeded to watch some more South Park.

Upon leaving Jess and Marty's place I had an interesting conversation with a nice, but slightly loony bus driver about the London bombings and girls in scouting. Then as I was crossing Rideau I got stopped by a 20 something guy wearing a bright orange t-shirt, with a near-shaved head, some piercings and a couple of tattoos (fairly cute actually), asking me if I had ever done yoga. I had a nice conversation with him about yoga and meditation and got a free book on Mantras and ancient Indian traditions! Pretty nifty!

I had work from 5-10 today (yesterday now), man I'm going to be glad when this week is over and I get a month off from Jacob. We have a $6.99 t-shirt sale on right now. We might as well be giving away free smack. The store is always torn apart to the point where we can't even get all the clothes back onto the floor before 10! Its insanity. They're only t-shirts people!!! The same ones you've been rejecting since Christmas! *sigh*

I came home tonight to find a new addition to our family! Jamie has decided that he likes rats and brought home Lydia! She is a super adorable cross between a brown hooded and an albino. Its nice having a rat again.

Wow, this is over 1000 words. Why can't essays be this easy to write!?
