I figured I'd wait for the month to finish before posting again, just to give it a few weeks and make sure that things were going to go half as good as they felt like they could when I posted last. It's only a few days from month's end and I've got a bit of time to kill so ( Read more... )

Glad yer doing well. Keep an eye on mood shifts to the south. If life feels wrong, or you get the urge to drink more than you should, give me or someone else a call. It's always been such a slippery slope when you reach this positive level.

Sorry work is slow, but expect it to pick up soon! With winter over people will be moving about more. You'll soon be complaining about all the lifting you're doing. :) Hopefully the Olympics thing works out. Be neat to work there! **jealous**

I'm really glad to hear you're still doing better. Not needing alcohol sounds very good! And eating healthier is good, too. FWIW, I'm happy for you.

I notice that you don't talk about your love life. I've never known you to "kiss and tell" and I don't mean to pry. Just... are you happy? Because you more than most deserve happiness of every kind, IMHO.

Good to hear you're doing better.

As someone who also had a New Years' resolution of trying to go to the gym more, I found it helps to create a spreadsheet in Google Docs to keep track of my progress. I log the following info:

- Workout date
- Weight (once/week)
- Cardio done
- Weights lifted (number of reps per set and amount of weight)

If you'd like to use my spreadsheet as a template, just let me know!
