Creamer Disaster

Apr 07, 2009 10:18

This morning I took it out of the fridge to shake it up to pour in my freshly french-pressed mug of coffee, and when I went to shake it, it exploded all over the counter, all over me, all over the floor, all over the microwave, all over the oven. It got down my shirt, in my hair, on my arms. This is ( Read more... )

Poor kitties! I have to break the news to my landlord that we are going to take care of an English bulldog and a basset hound for 2 months. Worst yet, we want him to build a door upstairs so the kitties can't come down. He's not going to be happy. LOL.

Adam removed one of the closet doors and uses it to block off the stairs! There's so much they could get into downstairs when we aren't around so we let them have their own little blocked off area when we're gone. I'm thinking with our new apartment we'll try to make it cat-proof so they can have free reign. Whose doggies are you taking care of?

how did you block off the stairs? can you show me? Take a picture and send it to me please! We need to figure out how to keep the cats upstairs for two months.

I'm taking care of my friend Virginie's dogs. She is leaving for New Zealand in June, but the dogs can't leave due to immunization restrictions until August.

I'll definitely take pics! It works surprisingly well. First we had a cork board up, and they jumped over it. So Adam detached a closet door, and it's exactly the width of the stairs, so he props it up kind of against the banister leaning forward, and he attached a bungy cord to keep it from falling backward. They've never defeated it, which is pretty good, because they can destroy pretty much anything when left to their own devices.
