Next weekend is the Pirates of Port Angeles Pirate Festival in Port Angeles, WA and the acting group I'm in, B.O.O.M., is featured as entertainment for the public. I'm totally excited.

Not only that but it seems I will be purchasing a new flintlock soon to add to my costume (yes it will be a working flintlock). I can't quite decide on which one

Aye excitement is brewin'.. also should be *quite* a good time seeing as there's no set to watch over.. we can muster about as we please! XD
I'm itchin' to see what manner of wares are sure to be about... also the ships... ahhh the ships. Quite lovely.

And I'm also agreed with you on the Dog Lock. I took a long look at both and that one has a sort of Flannagan flair. If ye be lookin' for a clip or somesuch, take a look at the custom holster made for Ferdinando by Ravenswood leather as one possibility.. it's right smart lookin', says I.

Yeah... sorry for leaving you in the lurch like that. If I had known you were left there during the fair for that long I would had sit in for you more. But yeah it will be nice to roam about without any obligations such as that.

I'm somewhat distraught about the cost of the hotel for next weekend. I'll be staying only one night. I'm going to drive up to PA early Saturday before the gates open and try to be there at least around 10:00 AM. Which means I'll have to leave around... 6:30 AM ugh.

I just went to look at the Red Lion site....WHOA! That's waaaaaaaay too much for a room. I'm going to go contact the owner of the place we're staying for her rates.

This is where we're staying. Decent rates, area cant be beat. It's 20 minutes outside PA.

I got my room through Hotels.com so I'm paying around $130 for a night at the red lion. It seems all the hotels in the area are prepared for this weekend so they jacked up the prices... I couldn’t find anything under 100 dollars a night. Ugh. So I decided to just get a room at the red lion - it looks nice. Might as well enjoy it if I'm going to have to shell out that much cash, ya know?
