One thing that's always got me and Ashley through is to always keep planning for the next time to meet up. Always try and keep a firm grasp of some income and plan to get some tickets. If you need any help with that, I'm willing to help you, but always keep looking forward, or you will lose it : D
Hey Vlad, just wanted to say good luck and things! James is exactly right. You seem to have the right mentality to survive this, for the most part. Except for some of the stuff in the last paragraph, but um, yeah! I hope it works for you :3
This sounds eerily familiar... I'll let you in on a secret... Alan and I dated online for over a year after meeting only once initially, then he packed everything he had into a car and moved here for my 18th birthday. If it's something you really want, go for it with all you've got. Love is a very precious thing that should be held onto with both hands and at all costs.
I'm sure things will work out with you in the end. You're such a great guy, and goddammit, you deserve it. ::hugs::
Hey, I've been with Ashley for 3 Years and 4 months. No lies, when you meet them after a little while again, it's like the best thing in the world. It's totally worth it, but it's also really difficult.

It's very much an uphill battle finding someone special so far away.
I was in a similar situation myself. I had met Sarah at a convention I attended and I had gotten her email from the art show. Over the first two months we got to know each other. So we planned to meet again at the next convention. We did and had a great time. So then I planned a visit to her place a few months after that. Then I spent 3 days packing up my car and moving everything I had into from New York to Seattle. And now 4 years later we are happily married. :)
