Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

It's snowing again! It started around noon and hasn't stopped since. Now everything outside is covered by a white blanket. *happy sigh* I'm not sure it will stay for long, though - it's actually a little bit too warm for snow. Hopefully it will get colder during the next days. At least I hope the snow will stay until I find the time to run into the ( Read more... )

Ahhh ... time to get out the hot chocolate and a Tolkien book, light the fire, and enjoy. ;) (Obviously, I'm not one for actually going outside when it's snowing. Except to take some quick pictures. *grin*)

Sounds like a plan to me. LOL! I usually like going outside when there's snow, but coming back into a warm, comfortable apartment and having cookies waiting in the kitchen next to the hot chocolate makes it perfect. *g*

I'm always torn. I love fresh snow. But since I drive a lot I'm also always wary when it snows...

Yes, that's definitely the downside of it. I always try my best to ignore reason, where snow is concerned. Practical aspects can really spoil all the fun. *g*

We rarely had snow over the last years and I was beginning to fear it would stay that way. I really missed it! Do you get snow where you live?

I like snow, but we don't get here that much. Mostly what we get is ice, and people here can't drive worth a hoot anyhow, so the ice makes it that much worse!

Other than that, I like snow and like to play in it. When I lived out West a little girl, we had lots of snow. :)

We haven't had snow for some years now, so it's really become something special for me. :) Ice is really no fun at all, especially when you need to drive - we had ice for some days, too, but fortunately it was over soon.

That must have been fun! Playing in the snow is really a wonderful thing for children - I loved it, too. Back then, we still had lots of snow each year. *sigh*
