[Okay, so she understood practically none of that at all. She heard building two, and that he wasn't going to hurt them at least.] Ah, thank you! That's very helpful. [to Roxas] Does it look alright?
[The careful calm Silk has been maintaining throughout their conversation completely shatters when the portal opens. He's never seen anything like it-- not even in the City-- and he stares in shock.]

[Roxas shrugs.]
I'd have to go through to know for sure.
[This time, Silk's outburst earns him only a mildly disinterested look. Roxas actually managed to understand most of that. Clearly someone's slipping.]
Yeah, I guess. [Oh, right. This was unusual for people to see, right? You kind of got used to seeing them appear in the game, so seeing them in real life, although amazing, was not so unexpected.
She blinked.] Human. [Well, she was. Roxas was too, technically, but she stayed vague, because she didn't want to include or disclude him from that category. She didn't know how he would react.]
Y'look like a sprat to me. An' if I wasn't dry I'd think someone'd slipped me a pinch of something queer. What in th' whorl is that thing? Ain't real shaggy human looking to me.
[He pointed at the portal, frowning slightly at the fact that his 'guests' seemed to think it was perfectly normal. And not worth explaining.]

Then you need to look harder.
[Glancing over his shoulder, Roxas briefly debates leaving Hiyori to sort out all of the guy's questions. It's not like she doesn't enjoy talking to people.
But if things go wrong again, he has no idea how to get around the City and back to his apartment. He rarely walks, after all. And so, with a sigh, Roxas consigns himself to waiting.]
Of course it doesn't look human. It's not. It's a portal. [What kind of a portal would be human-looking, anyway?]
[Of course, it's not really like she fully knew how to explain them, herself. She notices the sigh, though.] Uh, well, it's a way to get from one place to another. This is the first time I've been through one, myself.
Actually, there might be something affecting them today, because apparently they aren't working correctly. We were originally supposed to be going to Roxas' apartment, but we wound up here instead. So we're going to try again.
Dimber-damber. [The sarcastic tone is comprehensible even if the words aren't. In their defense there probably wasn't a satisfactory answer to his question.]
An' who's to say ya ain't gonna go off again and drop in on some other cull's place? Why don't ya just walk?

[That was almost comprehensible. Roxas... still looks unimpressed, though his brow twitches a little at Hiyori's 'we'.]
It doesn't matter. Portals are still faster.
[What he means, of course, is that if you get lost while walking, it takes you an even longer time to figure out that you're lost. But that would mean admitting the possibility that something might go wrong and he could get lost in the first place.
Turning to Hiyori, he gestures at the portal.] Now?
A-ah. Sorry again for intruding. [going up to the portal] I hope it works this time . . . [steps in, making sure Roxas is going to be following close by]
Roxas is also ignoring Silk's presence in his own apartment, because his manners are just that awesome.]
This isn't the right place either. What's going on?

I'm not a sprat.
[Notice the singular conjugation there. Roxas? Defend someone else's honor? Never.]
