As curses go, this one is rather harmless. In the case of myself and Megumi, there is a large... tank with fish inside in our living room. Rather beautiful creatures, they are. However, knowing Megumi, when she sees them she may not agree.
I think I shall feed them, though they are only here for the day.

[She squirms. And they are huge, too!]
Anata, why do you suppose we have carp?
What does this curse mean, I wonder . . .
. . . I hope that they aren't people that we know turned into fish?
[She looks at the tank in alarm.]

[Mitsuhide bends over by the tank, observing the fish with a soft smile. No, these little creatures have never been human. They are what they seem to be, he is sure.]
The network mentions many people with different animals. Nobody appears to be missing. But regardless, it is a somewhat harmless curse.
[He thinks briefly about what they might eat and goes to fetch something.]

[Megumi nods, her eyes still trained on the koi swimming about in the tank. They are beautiful creatures--even if she is a little frightened of them. She glances at her beloved Mitsuhide. He looks so happy to have the koi there, and her heart melts at the sight of his smile.]
[As he goes off to fetch something for the fish to eat, she realizes once again how much he loves animals--she recalls how he saved a kitten from the snow shortly after they met and found it a good home.]
[She bites her lip. He's been so considerate of her fear and dislike of animals--particularly of dogs--all this time . . . Oh, he's so sweet . . .]

This should do it.
[He gives Megumi a soft, reassuring smile before walking up to the tank and dropping the lettuce in. The fish immediately respond, rushing to the surface. Mitsuhide chuckles.]
Mmm! Is it good, my friends?
