Setsuna didn't mean to. He himself still needed to adjust to the layout of the Ptolemaios2 (which was both like and unlike that of the original). But the door hadn't been closed properly - an error in haste? - and he had glimpsed who was inside as he moved along the corridor.
It was Lockon. He was slipping on the jacket of his Meister's uniform. His face was turned to something on the opposite wall so he couldn't see Setsuna's glance. The way he shrugged his shoulders after he had finished. How he casually tossed his communicator on the pallet bed.
Lyle. Lockon. Lyle. Lockon. He had barely needed to remind himself of who Lockon was and was not - Setsuna after all, was the one who had originally greeted Lyle Dylandy by the name 'Lockon Stratos', the one who had had the most time to become accustomed to the disorientation of seeing a dead man walking.
But in Setsuna's experience, ghosts are hungry (Soran, why Soran?) and continue to yearn for the thoughts of the living that is their sustenance. Neil's twin and brother leaving his imprint in borrowed clothes.
