Star Fox is hard

So I beat Star Fox Command only to get a rather depressing ending. I looked online and found out there's something like eight or ten different endings depending on how you play through the branching storyline. Anyway, I'm playing through again and am on a level where a new missile is launched every round. I always lose the tracking beacons and

I'm glad the current generation of gmaes seems to be going out with a bang; I preordered Tales of the Abyss for the PS2 since I'm a big fan of the Tales series.
