really well done. i like how there's this whole theme of promises and lies and truths all throughout the story, but it isn't just limited to that, it touches on how irina's adoptive mother's fate impacts her ability to trust and her desire to. her reassurances to her self at the end were great.

Thanks! I know SMeyer recently said that in her original Forever Dawn or whatever, Laurent stayed with Irina, so I'm -thinking- of maybe fleshing that out a little.
