My dad was admitted into the hospital at 10:00 this morning. He is going in for surgery to have a cancer eaten kidney removed. I am sitting on pins and needles awaiting the phone call that will tell me the result of the operation and getting ready to make a mad dash to the hospital in the even that something goes terribly wrong.
