Today I paid for music. Physical cds for my hot little hands. It felt strange, like pretending to live in the past. I liked it. I felt like a productive member of society. Today I will not download! Instead, The Puppini Sisters, Band of Horses, and Cat Power will see monetary support. Kudos to you guys.

Oh how I enjoyed this segment of The Daily Show :) If only there was an organization sworn to protect that free speech!

Just now a man whom I have never seen before brought his son in for a sports physical. He held a bag of jelly beans and insisted that I try one. Being the person I am the first thing I thought was "Don't take candy from strangers," but I've been trying to break myself of my suburban paranoia if only a little so I had one. I feel a bit of a failure. The dentist filled the smallest of cavities today. The first to touch my big girl teeth. I was always so proud of my healthy teeth, now I join the masses. For over a year I have made Tuesday night dinner for the family. It's had very few rain checks and most often it's a new recipe I'm trying. Every Tuesday for a YEAR.
