Poor Kitty Cat got rear-ended while driving Natalie back from her AP test on Friday the 13th. She was hit by a white panel truck which pushed her car into a CRV in front of her. She and the CRV pulled over to exchange information, but the truck left the scene ( Read more... )

No data on the hit-and-run truck, though? That really sucks. As does the death of the band mom, but it's nice that people were able to come together for a memorial service.

(My father's service is next weekend and since he didn't have a lot of friends (and outlived most that he did have) and was almost completely areligious, we're going to stand around the pool out back of his house and say whatever comes to mind with whomever chooses to show up. With any luck, at least a few relatives will.)

Kate is especially bitter about filling out a hit-and-run report online. There's a webpage that asks if you have information about the vehicle, then requires you to fill in year, make and model of the vehicle before continuing on with the next page of the form. She knew it was white and a big truck. Stupid stupid form.
