Ahhh Christmas.  I love Christmas!  I love all the lights and the laughter. I love spending time with friends and family.  I know that not everyone has the same feelings and that it can be very trying (driving, parking and shopping etc..), but you know - even then I try to be patient, kind, smiling and it does help.  Sometimes it even rubs off on

Well that all sounds very ... normal. (cozy? ... comfortable? domestic? ... family-ish? I'm not quite sure what the right word is here)

I can't relate, as don't know what it's like to have a large, close-knit family situation where lots of people enjoy each other's company and care about each other's well-being, but it sounds quite pleasant.

Congratulations on the commitment ring! You sound happy, and that's what matters. I hope 2007 is an awesome year for you!
