So I have another day at home. I have to go into work this afternoon, but it still seems far away at the moment. Instead of writing down all the things I have to do today, I made a mind-map, which is basically the same thing but with pretty colours and bubbles and lots of connecting lines. lush bubble bars are the most fantastic thing you could possibly waste time doing - pure indulgence.

and if you're looking for something a bit more general, try looking into mindfulness which is a way of meditating where you sit and make yourself aware of the moment you find yourself in, without judging or reflecting. try reading "the miracle of mindfulness" by tich naht hanh or anything by john kabit zinn.

and how come's we haven't seen you in ages eh?

I like bath bombs the best - especially the ones with too much glitter in. I have been out and about at weekends, but not alot during the week cos I've either been ill or busy. No time to check my lj also results in not finding out what is happening until it's all too late... *sulk*

Where are you getting your feel-good tips from? They sound like fun.

high on my list would have to be my lovely sister

You mean there's more than one of us? :-)

I like: Haiku, jigsaws (Beric just finds these frustrating, though), music and getting an extra hour's sleep. Mmmm. Writing has to come top of the list for feel-good factor.

Yay! Hotel all booked (they don't have threes so you have your own room - feel less guilty about intrusion on our anniversary! Not that we'll get up to anything at 6am when we finally get back... :( ) We have a late check out as well, so we can lie in. Flights are booked for 5pm return, getting back at 5, so loads of time to catch the train. Uwe's picking them up in the morning. Flights out are no problem - easyjet, so we have an on line reference thingy. All in all it's looking good though! I can't wait!
