An interesting weekend this last one. The highlights:

* Blowing lots of hard earned cash on a new PDA and external hard drive, filling my desk with more exciting brushed-steel gadgetry.
* Seeing Kalle and Vanessa, drinking many cocktails chez kajia and finding out K n V had 2000ml vials of pure ginseng... *PING ( Read more... )

Yay, doing geek stuffs makes me happy even if I get no sleep :]

Hotels are gonna be a bit of a bastard. What's your budget per night for a double bedroom? A friend of mine who lives in Köln and will be driving in to Krefeld each day has offered up a double-bed in his flat, but I'll only use that in a tight squeeze. Have found a 4-star hotel quite close to the venue for 97 EU per double room per night, and there's another 3-star about 2km further away for around 70 EU. We're probably going to be catching taxis any way you look at it though.

I think I'll make a booking tomorrow and if something better turns up I'll cancel. Must ask Leif which hotels he found

V, you're not hard to remember. Though I have to go to your user page - The cartoon isn't exactly a dead giveaway! I don't mind at all if you friend me... My little oxford list seems to be growing. (Mike tracked me down too...) Congratulations on the whole marriage thing... I am happily engaged now, but sadly we have to put off hte whole actual marriage thing until we can afford anything resembling a wedding... Ho hum. Looking forward to dropping in on your lj and catching up!

We've booked hotels for Mfest as well now, not sure where though. Which hotel are you staying in?
