Secret Santa Wish List

Dec 03, 2008 13:33

Martin has done a wonderful job, as always, putting together Secret Santa. Everyone who is participating has already received that special person to shop for, however, maybe lacking in the department of ideas. Therefore, as we have done in the past, it is requested of you to post your wish list on this entry. Let your secret santa know what you ( Read more... )

As usual, I will be happy with coffee or red wine (pinot noir if you want to get specific about it).

I would also appreciate anything that made my (future) apartment look less drug dealer-ish. Maybe some photography. Or some kind of sign or poster. Or something for the wall of my (again, future) office.

Music, DVDs, etc. (and gift certificates to that effect).

If you think you know something that I might like, by all means, go for it!

In case my secret santa should need some help, here's what's on my wish list this year:
Hot Topic Gift Card
Anything with Gir(Invader Zim) on it
Raver or Steampunk-esq goggles
Anything Hoops & YoYo from Hallmark
Dragons (but not crappy--I found this on the bottom shelf at Big Lots)
Or absolutely anything that you feel suits me! :-)

Thanks Santa,
I'll try to be a little less naughty for the next few weeks.

Love Miss E

I like anything fun, and also spherical things. I guess you could imagine you are shopping for a dolphin.

Dear Santa,

While I appreciate that coal provides cheap energy for Kentucky, it is not sustainable and contributes to carbon emissions. Therefore, I would prefer renewable energy or at least some carbon sequestration technology for Christmas.

If that isn't feasible, I would also like this other stuff:
-a couple of yoga blocks
-gothy stuff
-cute socks and tights
-things related to Harry Potter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel
-anything Gir (Invader Zim)

Well, in a way, I'm both easy and hard to buy for. I'm hard to buy for because there aren't many "things" I want. (That doesn't mean there *aren't* "things" that I would be happy to receive, it's just hard for me to think of them.) I do, however, like tasty things. And that's easy because when it comes to tasty things, there aren't many things I don't like! ;-) For some specific examples:

  • I like wines, in particular semi-dry or off-dry reds.
  • I like beer, in particular darker malty beers.
  • I like honey, and although regular (clover) honey isn't a very exciting gift, honey made from other nectars are interesting. I think many grocery stores often have a few unusual honeys.
  • I like unusual cheeses. Mmm!
  • I like unusual fruits, for example kumquats. I haven't had a kumquat in a long time, I stopped seeing them in the grocery store. :-(
  • I like rich tasty sweets! They don't help me get/stay in shape though. :-(
  • I like lots of other things too -- feel free to just get me something else, in particular if there's something you like ( ... )
