This is one of the things I like the most about Obama. I'm not really agreeing with his economic policies at the moment but when he shows that he cares about things like this, it makes me really happy. And he's not just talking about it, he's actually doing something. It's not just women but children as well. The children's health insurance bill and now this council, it's all just really awesome.

As somone on one of my communitis said, the fact that he is addressing this during the first one-hundred days of his administration is indicative of how he feels about it. This isn't something he promised in the campaign. It's something he feels is important. Something he feels is right.

And yes, my momma is remarkable. As much as my family members annoy me at times, I really do love my family.
