My sister had her first chemo treatment yesterday. The doctor says that her prognosis is pretty good. She's doing fine. She's a realtor, and she showed a house last night. She's determined to work while she's doing chemo

one of the managers at our store did that when her brother went through chemo. i thought it was so brave and amazing. you should def. do it, besides~ hair grows fast and you'll get to enjoy some fun hairstyles once you start growing it out again. :3
Thank you so much! My motherboard fried and I've been offline since right after I wrote this, but it's nice to know folks care and prayers are always good.
She's doing really well. We had a scare a couple of weeks ago when she had a reaction to the one of the chemicals. Her blood pressure spiked and her heart stopped and they had to use the crash cart. But overall she's amazing.
She didn't want us to shave our heads. She gave us this imperious look and said, "I would rather you not call attention to my illness."
She got a wig -- it's grey and her hair was mostly black with a little grey. She's had all of these people tell her that they're so glad she stopped dying her hair. Apparently it looks very real, even though I think it really looks like a wig.

Showing your support by shaving your head is a good idea.

I say if you want to do (shave your head), then go for it. If I had a sister, I would want her to be supportive like you are to her. :)
