Greed will exist as long as the human race populates the earth. It has nothing to do with a socialist nor capitalist society; instead it is a characteristic, a flaw which can be traced back to the beginning of time. In fact, though greed not depend on capitalism or socialism, it is more encouraged by a socialist society. The few that can make it in 3rd world countries are hated by their peers. Will government control cause the absence of a human trait? I don't think so; capitalism depends soley on the motivation of the individual; not in likeness to what you call "greed." Will there always be greed? Yes, but certain economic systems hurt rather than prosper or fix ( ... )

have any of you read the book by Bill Hicks "Love All The People"? If not you should, it is required reading material. My dad picked it up for me while he was England, and I have yet to find it in a bookstore in the states. It is a very interesting book filled with essays, routines, and other works of Bill's life including what really happened with his performance not being aired on the David Letterman show. Like I said it is a must read, this book and any publishing by Alex Grey.
