This morning we had the home inspection, and everything looks great.  There are only three minor things wrong with the house that we can fix ourselves with minimal cost involved.  We found out the water heater is about 10 years old, so we'll probably be replacing it soon and the air conditioning unit has about 5 years left on it.  When we were at

Yeah, it's a new house. They want too much money for the house we're in now (250,000), and it would need a lot of work (aka money) on top of that. The new house is much better, believe me! I can't keep up with how many decisions we make in the matter of a few days. I'm fickle and Scott's more fickle so it gets weird around here.

If I can offer 2 cents based on past personal learning experiences.

1. Make sure you get a permit for the fence. Its a new hurricane regulation thing. Posts have to be so deep and other BS.

2. If the wallpaper is a pain in the butt, it may be worth the spare headache to blow texture onto the walls and paint from there.
